Evelyn Castaneda is a Supply Chain Management student at the University of Houston-Downtown pursuing a minor in Management Information Systems. She currently serves as an Accounts Payable Procurement Specialist with the Harris County Engineering Department, where she supports procurement and financial operations for infrastructure and engineering projects while gaining practical experience in public sector supply chain management.
In addition to her professional role, Evelyn serves as President of the Student Supply Chain Management Association (SSCMA), where she is dedicated to connecting students with industry leaders and creating opportunities for professional growth and career development. She also serves as a Special Projects Manager Intern with Global Energy Transition (GET), supporting initiatives focused on workforce development, industry engagement, and the evolving energy sector.

GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION (GET) will not tolerate any type of harassment of attendees, including the following but not limited to: inappropriate physical or virtual contact, unwelcome sexual attention, display of sexual images in public or virtual spaces, deliberate verbal or physical intimidation, sustained disruption of talks or other events, advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors, verbal, or physical abuse. Because of the following but not limited to: religion, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, or age. As an attendee, you are expected to abide by the guidelines set above. At GET’s discretion, those deemed in violation will be removed from virtual or physical venues immediately without a refund and barred from future GET events. If you experience or witness a Code of Conduct violation, report it to the GET Board of Directors at directors@getdecarb.org. We base GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION’s (GET) Code of Conduct on the principles of inclusion, equality, diversity, and respect. These guidelines are necessary to ensure that everyone can safely enjoy GET’s events.
