Evelyn Castaneda is a Supply Chain Management student at the University of Houston-Downtown pursuing a minor in Management Information Systems. She currently serves as an Accounts Payable Procurement Specialist with the Harris County Engineering Department, where she supports procurement and financial operations for infrastructure and engineering projects while gaining practical experience in public sector supply chain management.
In addition to her professional role, Evelyn serves as President of the Student Supply Chain Management Association (SSCMA), where she is dedicated to connecting students with industry leaders and creating opportunities for professional growth and career development. She also serves as a Special Projects Manager Intern with Global Energy Transition (GET), supporting initiatives focused on workforce development, industry engagement, and the evolving energy sector.
