Emily E. Silva is a global talent and people strategy leader with more than 12 years of experience supporting energy and software organizations. She began her career in digital marketing after earning a BBA in Marketing from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), later transitioning into nuclear procurement and compliance before launching her career in Human Resources. Emily has held roles across HRIS, compensation, and talent acquisition, including leading HR system implementations and building out early career programs. Since joining EDP Renewables in 2019, she has supported the rapid organizational growth for North America through building an employer value proposition and recruiting top talent. She is currently in the role of Global Talent Acquisition Manager within the Talent Center of Excellence at EDP, where she is focused on driving talent attraction and acquisition strategy across 27 countries. She is passionate about building meaningful partnerships, fostering a strong culture of employee engagement, and helping others in their career. Emily is a native Houstonian, active member of the Junior League of Houston, serves on the Women IN Energy planning committee, and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
